A Message to Woodland Families

Welcome to Woodland Middle School—Home of the Wolverines!

As we begin the 2026–2027 school year, I am filled with excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to continue serving this outstanding school community. Over the past year, we have strengthened our culture of excellence, expanded opportunities for our scholars, and built meaningful partnerships with families and community stakeholders. Together, we have laid a strong foundation for continued success.

This year, we remain committed to our theme, "Woodland Strong: Rooted in Pride, Rising to Greatness." At Woodland Middle School, we believe every scholar possesses unique talents, strengths, and limitless potential. Our mission is to empower every Wolverine to achieve academic excellence, develop strong character, and gain the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to successfully navigate their college and career pathways and compete in a globally competitive society.

Our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to providing engaging learning experiences, fostering meaningful relationships, and maintaining high expectations for all students. We strive to create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where every Wolverine feels valued, challenged, and inspired to reach their fullest potential.

Family engagement remains a cornerstone of our success. We encourage parents and guardians to actively partner with us by attending school events, joining the PTA, serving on the School Governance Council, volunteering, and maintaining open communication with our staff. Together, we can ensure that every scholar is equipped for success both inside and outside the classroom.
