  • Small Group Counseling: School Counselors group multiple students of similar ages, who are dealing with similar issues together to accomplish similar goals using established counseling methods and topics.

  • Classroom Instruction: School Counselors facilitate classroom instruction on various topics to address student needs/concerns such as bullying, suicide, stress/anxiety, and handling peer conflict.

We implement College and Career Motivation Week and Career Day. We also lead Bridge Bill classroom instruction to inform students about post-secondary options, we administer the YouScience assessment, and 6th grade receives Career Awareness lessons that discuss various Career Clusters for 9 weeks .

    What is Bridge Bill?
The General Assembly of Georgia enacted the BRIDGE Law (House Bill 400) on May 20, 2010. This law was passed to ensure that Georgia’s 6th - 12th grade students were made aware of available college and career options.

  • In School Mental Health Services: Odyssey is our in-house family counseling center that offers services to referred students. They deliver quality mental health to our students during the school day and offer other services such as substance abuse treatment and prevention and education services in the community.

If you would like to refer your student, please reach out directly to the school counselor or contact the intake department.
